Like precious relics of a glorious and noble past, the residences of the Venetian aristocracy tell their stories, their legends. In the fatal march of time, nothing scratches the ladies who dominate the Vicenza scenario.

Riding our Palladian E-bike with GPS navigator, guided by the spirit of Palladio, we head along the hilly landscape that kisses Vicenza. Stop in the historic Villa Valmarana Ai Nani for a gorged with eighteenth-century amazement in front of the beauty of the frescoes by Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo.
 
We continue our full immersion in art and history reaching Villa La Rotonda, the bucolic refuge of its client Almerico Capra, from which it also takes its name. Here it is difficult - if not impossible - not to be entranced by the frescoes, stuccos and all the architectural elements that make up this Palladian jewel.

Pedaling, we move away from the architecture to make room for boundless Venetian panoramas, we admire the view that the top of Monte Berico gives us: an infinite expanse of landscape, from which it is possible to see even the mountain peaks in the distance. Lulled by the gentle slopes of Monte Berico, we return to where it all began, but fortunately not yet finished.
 
There remains the joy of being able to admire, in the company of a guide, the Palazzo Valmarana Braga and with it its facade, its patio, the textile workshop and the count's study, decorated with a Renaissance cosmological vision on the ceiling.
